All eleven exchanges offer Earn products, but the names, redemption terms and payout timing differ a lot: Bybit's flexible yield is calculated hourly and credited daily at 00:30 UTC; OKX pays flexible returns every hour and states it charges 15% of your return; Gate wipes out all accrued interest if you redeem a fixed-term product early; Bitget lets you exit some fixed products early but you may lose the interest. Rates change every day, so this comparison is built on the rules, not on today's APR.
First, how Earn relates to rebates: Earn itself generates no trading fee, so it generates no trading rebate. Of the eleven exchanges, only Bybit's Earn interest share can be reclaimed through Quant Nova, up to 40%; the others have not published any Earn profit share. The real savings are on trading: if you trade, binding through Quant Nova gives new users 30%–61% from Lv.1 with no threshold, 1.5–3× a common 20% referral code, up to 68% at SVIP (reached through volume) and up to 70% at Supernova (invitation-only).
Quick verdict
- Flexible: the official docs of Binance, OKX, Bybit, Gate, Bitget and Ourbit all say flexible products can be redeemed at any time; Binance sets a daily redemption limit per product, and OKX may temporarily restrict redemption when a pool is fully lent out.
- Fixed: OKX requires you to wait until the lock-up ends; Gate allows early redemption but you lose all accrued interest; on Bybit, Bitget and XT.COM only some products support early redemption, per the product page.
- Fees: Bybit states there are no other fees because its management fee is already reflected in the APR; OKX charges 15% of the flexible return; the FAQs of Binance, Gate, Bitget, XT.COM and Ourbit list no Earn fee, and MEXC, Pionex, WEEX and HTX have not published one.
- Rebates: Bybit is the only exchange whose Earn interest share you can reclaim through Quant Nova, up to 40%; trading-fee rebates are available on all eleven.

Product types: flexible, fixed, staking, dual investment and Launchpool
The names vary, but the products fall into five groups:
- Flexible: subscribe and redeem anytime at a floating rate. Binance and Bitget call it Simple Earn Flexible, Bybit calls it Easy Earn Flexible Term, MEXC calls it Flexible Savings, Ourbit calls it Flexible Saving.
- Fixed: lock for a set period, usually for a higher yield. Binance calls it Locked, Bybit Fixed Term, Bitget Simple Earn Fixed, Ourbit Fixed Earn.
- Staking: Binance and OKX offer ETH and SOL Staking; Bybit has On-Chain Earn; XT.COM lists PoS Staking under Staking.
- Dual / structured: Binance, OKX, Gate and Bitget offer Dual Investment; Bybit puts structured products in Advanced Earn, which it describes as suited to investors comfortable with more risk.
- Launchpool-type: Gate, Bitget and XT.COM run Launchpool; Binance states that eligible Simple Earn BNB joins Launchpool automatically; WEEX's WE-Launch requires 300 WXT or more in your spot account, and your WXT is not locked during the event.
Ourbit also has a separate "Simple Earn": switch it on and your holdings earn automatically without being locked, so you can still trade, deposit or withdraw. Note that Ourbit's Flexible Saving needs a manual subscription, and those assets stop earning Simple Earn rewards once subscribed.
Does Earn have fees?
Most exchanges don't call the cost of Earn a "fee"; it is built into the return you receive:
- OKX: it states it charges 15% of your Simple Earn Flexible return; hourly return = lent amount × APR ÷ 365 ÷ 24 × 85%.
- Bybit: the official FAQ asks "Will there be any other fees?" and answers "No. The management fee charged by Bybit is already reflected in the APR."
- Others: the Earn FAQs of Binance, Gate, Bitget, XT.COM and Ourbit list no Earn fee; MEXC, Pionex, WEEX and HTX have not published one, and we don't guess.
Wherever you use Earn, its cost comes out of the yield, not from a trading fee charged on trade value, which is exactly why Earn produces no trading rebate.
Redemption: instant flexible, and does early fixed redemption cost you?
Flexible
- Binance: flexible assets go back to your Spot Wallet immediately once redemption is processed; each product has a daily redemption limit, and delays can occur in volatile markets or during heavy redemptions.
- OKX: instant subscription and redemption; on rare occasions when a pool is fully lent out, redemption may be limited or suspended, reviewed every hour.
- Bybit: no lock-up, redeem anytime; redeemed assets earn nothing, and there is no yield for the hour in which you redeem.
- Gate: real-time redemption; redeem before T+1 and you won't receive interest for the past hour.
- Bitget: redeem under Assets → Orders → Earn Orders; interest stops accruing as soon as you submit.
Fixed
- OKX: fixed-term products can only be redeemed after the lock-up period ends.
- Bybit: no redemption before maturity; some products support early redemption at a lower or zero APR, full redemption only, taking up to 24 hours.
- Gate: early redemption is allowed, but you lose all accrued interest; principal returns within 24–48 hours.
- Bitget: some fixed products allow early redemption, which may forfeit the interest, per the product page; at maturity the principal moves to Flexible automatically.
- XT.COM: some products support manual early redemption; others only redeem automatically at maturity.
- Ourbit: during a fixed lock-up you can't trade, deposit or withdraw those assets; other products can be redeemed after a minimum holding period, with earnings based on the actual holding time.
Before buying a fixed product, check the "early redemption" rule on its page: all are called fixed, yet OKX won't let you out early, Gate lets you out with zero interest, and Bybit lets you out on some products at a lower APR.
How often is yield paid?
- Every minute: Binance flexible rewards accrue to the Earn Wallet every minute; Locked rewards are credited daily to the Spot Wallet.
- Every hour: OKX pays each hour's flexible return in the next hour; Gate flexible interest is paid hourly and reinvested to compound; some Bitget flexible products pay hourly.
- Daily: Bybit flexible yield is calculated hourly and paid to the Funding Account daily at 00:30 UTC; Bitget's daily-interest products start accruing at 00:00 (UTC+8) the day after you subscribe; Ourbit usually shows earnings from the day after subscribing.
- At maturity: Bybit and Gate fixed products pay yield with principal at maturity; some XT.COM products pay at maturity.
Can Earn earn a rebate? Only Bybit has an interest share
A trading rebate is calculated on the trading fee you pay. Earn has no fee charged on trade value, so none of the eleven exchanges generates a trading rebate from your Earn balance.
The one exception is Bybit: under Bybit's official affiliate program, affiliates earn commission on referred users' activity, and the affiliate dashboard shows an Earn rebate line. Most KOLs keep that share; bind Bybit through Quant Nova and up to 40% of the Earn interest share is returned to you, calculated separately from, and on top of, your trading rebate. Full details in Bybit Earn interest share.
The other ten, Binance, OKX, Gate, Bitget, MEXC, Pionex, WEEX, XT.COM, HTX and Ourbit, have not published whether an Earn profit share exists, and we don't guess.
One caveat: per Bybit's official affiliate FAQ, if a referred user makes no trades for 180 consecutive days, the affiliate relationship may be terminated; if you only hold Earn and never trade, the share may stop.
Earn risks: platform risk and proof of reserves
Earn is not risk-free. Binance's official Simple Earn page says Simple Earn is designed as a lower-risk product but can still lose principal in extreme market conditions. Bybit says Easy Earn returns no fewer tokens than you invested ("principal-protected in token amount"), but their fiat value moves with the market. Floating APRs are for reference only. Assets in exchange Earn still carry platform risk, so check each exchange's proof of reserves (PoR):
- Binance: states it holds all user assets 1:1, verified with a Merkle tree and zk-SNARKs.
- OKX: states it keeps a 1:1 reserve of all account assets and periodically publishes PoR reports.
- Gate: uses Merkle tree + zk-SNARKs; verified assets at or above 100% mean user assets are fully held.
- Bitget: publishes a Merkle tree proof, platform reserves and reserve ratio every month.
- MEXC: states it maintains a 1:1 reserve of all user assets.
- WEEX: reserve ratio = platform reserve ÷ user holdings; 100% or more means holdings are covered.
- XT.COM: states a 1:1 reserve ratio and issues PoR reports regularly.
- HTX: reserves at a minimum 1:1 ratio; reserve ratio = on-chain asset snapshot ÷ total user assets.
- Ourbit: 1:1 reserve, but it notes this excludes assets reserved in financial products. Note: Ourbit is registered in the British Virgin Islands and is not supervised by a major financial regulator, so avoid keeping long-term or large balances there; see the risk notes in the Ourbit fee rebate guide.
We could not read Bybit's or Pionex's PoR page in the original this time, so they are not listed. For whether rebate platforms themselves are safe, see Is a crypto fee rebate safe.
In money: Earn share vs trading rebate
Earn interest share (Bybit only): the real amount depends on product and principal, so here is a hypothetical. If in a month your Earn activity generates a 10 USDT interest share for your inviter, most KOL codes return 0 to you; through Quant Nova at up to 40%, you get 4 USDT back.
Trading-fee rebate (all eleven): say you pay 500 USDT in fees in a month:
| Exchange (futures) | Common 20% code | Quant Nova Lv.1 | SVIP | Supernova (invitation-only) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| OKX | 100 USDT | 20% auto-rebate, i.e. 100 USDT (plus exclusive rewards and promotions) | ||
| Bybit | 100 USDT | 150 USDT (30%) | 175 USDT (35%) | 200 USDT (40%) |
| Gate | 100 USDT | 300 USDT (60%) | 325 USDT (65%) | 350 USDT (70%) |
| Bitget | 100 USDT | 200 USDT (40%) | 225 USDT (45%) | 250 USDT (50%) |
| WEEX / XT.COM | 100 USDT | 305 USDT (61%) | 340 USDT (68%) | 350 USDT (70%) |
On the same 500 USDT in fees, Gate Lv.1 returns 300 USDT, 3× a common 20% code, and on Bybit the Earn interest share can be added on top. Every tier for all eleven is on the rebate rates data page; settlement is explained in How fee rebates are settled.
Backfill and rebinding: already have an account?
Both the Earn share and trading rebates follow your account's referral link. If you already have an account, go in this order: the official backfill window first, then a KYC identity transfer, and finally closing the old account and registering again; opening a new account with a new phone number or email also works.
- Bybit: within 14 days of registering and with no referrer yet, add NOVA888 under Profile → Account → Account Info → Join Affiliate Community; steps in the Bybit rebind guide.
- Others: backfill windows and rebind methods for all eleven are in Exchange rebind rules.
To bind, submit your UID on the Quant Nova rebate platform; it is reviewed automatically at 16:00 (UTC+8) the next day and approved if you traded the previous day. Rebates are settled daily, and every entry can be checked.
Which exchange suits whom?
- Earn only, and you want the share back: Bybit is the only one of the eleven whose Earn interest share you can reclaim through Quant Nova; but 180 days without trading may end the affiliate relationship.
- You need access anytime: pick flexible; OKX pays hourly, Binance accrues every minute, Bybit pays daily.
- Happy to lock for a higher yield: check early-redemption rules first; Gate zeroes interest on early exit, and OKX fixed must run to maturity.
- You both hold Earn and trade: the trading rebate is the bigger number, from 30% at Lv.1 on Binance and Bybit to 61% on WEEX and XT.COM; OKX is a 20% auto-rebate, plus exclusive rewards and promotions.
Referral codes: NOVA888 for Binance, OKX, Bybit, Bitget, XT.COM and Ourbit; mexc-NOVA888 for MEXC; QUANTXXX for Gate and Pionex; lowercase quantxxx for WEEX; lowercase quant for HTX. Full list in the exchange referral code list.
FAQ
Does exchange Earn charge fees?
Most build the cost into the yield. Bybit says there are no other fees and the management fee is reflected in the APR; OKX charges 15% of the flexible return; the Earn FAQs of Binance, Gate, Bitget, XT.COM and Ourbit list no fee, and MEXC, Pionex, WEEX and HTX have not published one.
Does holding Earn generate a rebate?
Not a trading rebate, because Earn has no trading fee on trade value. The one exception is Bybit's Earn interest share, up to 40% returned when you bind through Quant Nova.
Do other exchanges share Earn profit?
Apart from Bybit, the other ten have not published whether an Earn profit share exists, and we don't guess.
Can I redeem a fixed product early?
It depends on the exchange and product. OKX requires waiting until lock-up ends; Gate allows it but you lose all accrued interest; on Bybit, Bitget and XT.COM some products allow it, with yield reduced or lost.
How often is flexible yield paid?
Binance accrues every minute, OKX pays hourly, Gate pays hourly and compounds, Bybit pays daily at 00:30 UTC; Bitget pays hourly or daily depending on the product.
Why doesn't this article compare APRs?
Flexible rates float: Binance says its real-time APR can change every minute, and new-user boosts and promotional rates change often. Today's number is stale tomorrow, so we compare rules only.
Can you lose money on Earn?
Yes, it is possible. Binance says Simple Earn can lose principal in extreme market conditions; Bybit Easy Earn returns no fewer tokens than you invested, but their fiat value moves with the market; the assets also carry platform risk, so check each exchange's proof of reserves.
