Where our fee and rebate data comes from

Every fee and rebate table on this site follows the rules on this page. We use only official exchange sources, date every figure, and read rebate rates from the same table we settle with — what you see is what is paid back to you.

1. How fees are collected

We record each exchange’s list fees for regular users (VIP0): maker and taker for spot and USDT-margined perpetuals. VIP tiers, platform-token discounts and limited-time promotions are not part of the list fee and are noted separately.

We only use sources the exchange publishes itself, in this order: the official fee page, then official support articles or announcements, then the exchange’s own public API. When a fee page is rendered in JavaScript and has no readable text, we read the exchange’s API and take the most common rate across all symbols, rather than a single pair such as BTC. We never use third-party compilations.

2. How the rebate rate is defined

Rebate rate = the part the exchange returns automatically + the extra part Quant Nova settles by tier. On Binance, for example, Lv.1 is 20% + 10% = 30% and the top tier is 20% + 20% = 40%. Bybit and Pionex have no exchange-side automatic layer, so the table shows the total.

“Maximum” means the total at the highest tier, including the invitation-only Supernova tier; the highest tier reachable by trading is SVIP. Under its affiliate policy OKX is shown publicly at 20% only; ask support about anything beyond that.

Rates are read from the same tier table we use for daily settlement, not a separate marketing copy, so every table on the site updates when it changes.

Rebates are fees paid straight back to you. They exclude VIP fee tiers and platform-token discounts such as BNB or GT, which stack on top.

3. How the net fee rate is calculated

The net fee rate is what you actually pay after the rebate. The rebate is calculated on the fee actually paid, so with a platform-token discount the discount applies first and the rebate second.

Net fee rate
list fee × (1 − rebate rate)
With a token discount
list fee × (1 − token discount) × (1 − rebate rate)
e.g. Gate futures taker, top tier
0.05% × (1 − 70%) = 0.015%
e.g. Binance spot, BNB on, top tier
0.10% × (1 − 25%) × (1 − 40%) = 0.045%
