On deposits and withdrawals, Bybit is more transparent than most exchanges in two ways: it spells out how much each KYC level can withdraw per day, and it publishes fixed formulas for recovering wrong deposits and missing memos. It also has its own traps: a BEP20 deposit needs 60 confirmations and Solana 200, and a single password change locks even P2P for 24 hours. This guide uses the Bybit Help Center and Bybit's public API to cover KYC withdrawal limits, USDT deposit networks, deposit recovery, withdrawal security and fiat channels. Figures are as of 2026-09-28; official pages prevail.
If you are about to open an account: a Bybit referral can only be added later within 14 days of signup and while you have no referrer. Bind NOVA888 at signup and get 30% of trading fees back from Lv.1, 1.5 times the common 20% code; after that window, only a rebind works.
Your KYC level sets how much you can withdraw per day
Bybit states that at least Standard identity verification is mandatory for all Bybit products and services. In Bybit's benefits table, an unverified account has deposits, fiat, P2P, spot and derivatives all crossed out; only withdrawals remain. Withdrawal limits by level (non-VIP, in USDT equivalent):
| Level | What is verified | Daily withdrawal limit | Monthly limit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Unverified | - | 20,000 USDT | 100,000 USDT |
| Standard | Identity assessment + ID document (with face check) | 1,000,000 USDT | No monthly cap |
| Advanced | Standard + proof of address | 2,000,000 USDT | No monthly cap |
| Business | Business verification | 4,000,000 USDT | - |
Sources: Individual KYC FAQ, Crypto withdrawal FAQ, as of 2026-09-28.
- Reset time: daily limits reset at 00:00 UTC (08:00 in Taiwan); monthly limits at 00:00 UTC on the 1st.
- VIP limits: VIP levels have higher daily caps, but the default stays at 1M for Standard and 2M for Advanced until you adjust it manually.
- Setting a lower cap: you can lower your own withdrawal limit as a safeguard once Google Authenticator is set up; it covers on-chain withdrawals and internal transfers.
- One KYC account per person: in Bybit's words, "Bybit only allows one account per user to process KYC verification". Moving it to another account uses the official KYC transfer, which triggers a 24-hour withdrawal restriction.
For a cross-exchange view of KYC levels, see the exchange KYC comparison.
USDT deposits: 23 networks, very different confirmation counts
Bybit currently accepts USDT on 23 networks. Confirmations required to credit, as returned by Bybit's public API on 2026-09-28:
| Network | Confirmations to credit |
|---|---|
| TON | 1 |
| Aptos | 1 |
| Ethereum (ERC20) | 6 |
| Tron (TRC20) | 20 |
| OP Mainnet, AVAX C-Chain | 30 |
| BSC (BEP20), Polygon PoS | 60 |
| Mantle | 100 |
| Arbitrum One (USDT0) | 120 |
| Solana | 200 |
Source: Bybit's public API (deposit coin and network query); confirmation rules are described in the Bybit Deposit FAQ. BTC mainnet needs 1 confirmation.
For the same USDT, BEP20 on Bybit needs 60 confirmations and Solana 200, which is not the "instant" people often expect. When speed matters, TON and ERC20 are quicker here. There is also a withdrawal freeze after crediting: Bybit says deposits can be used on the platform once credited but cannot be withdrawn until the unlock confirmation count is reached, which is shown only after logging in.
Other deposit rules worth knowing:
- Minimum deposit: listed per coin on Bybit's Crypto Deposit/Withdrawal Status page; deposits below it "will not be credited or refunded".
- Default destination is the Funding Account: you can switch it to the Unified Trading or Earn account.
- Daily credit limit per chain: anything above it waits in Pending Assets and is released over several days. Bybit's example: USDT on Arbitrum has a 100,000 USDT daily limit, so a 300,000 USDT deposit is released over three days.
- No smart contract deposits (except ETH): contract transfers such as USDT on TRC20 or BNB on BSC are not supported; use a direct transfer.
- Memo/tag: for XRP, EOS, TON chain, XYM, RUNE and others, every Bybit account shares one deposit address and the memo identifies the owner; a missing or wrong memo may mean lost assets.
Wrong deposits: Bybit's published recovery fees
Bybit splits recovery into missing or wrong memos and unsupported coins or chains, with fees and conditions in the Help Center:
| Case | Route | Fee | Time and conditions |
|---|---|---|---|
| Missing memo | Self-service appeal | 5x the coin's standard withdrawal fee | Result in 1-3 working days; transactions over 180 days old not processed; returned to the source address |
| Wrong memo / self-service failed | Manual request | 5x the coin's standard withdrawal fee | Transactions over 90 days old not processed; screen recording, ID and selfie required; no guarantee |
| Unsupported coin or chain (shown in Pending Assets) | Self-service withdrawal | Varies by asset, in USDT | Depends on the withdrawal chain |
| Unsupported coin or chain (not in Pending Assets) | Manual procedure | Fixed 200 USD | Value must exceed 500 USD; review 3-5 working days, overall processing may be 7-14 working days |
Sources: Self-service missing deposit recovery, Recovery request troubleshooting, Unsupported deposit recovery rules.
The maths shows where the floor is. Bybit's own example: if the standard XRP withdrawal fee is 0.25 XRP, recovery costs 1.25 XRP, and with a 20 XRP minimum withdrawal, a missing-memo deposit of 21.25 XRP or less is not eligible. Unsupported coins via the manual route cost more: a fixed 200 USD, anything under 500 USD rejected, recovery on a best-effort basis with no guarantee, and fees are non-refundable; wrong deposits on KCC, OEC, Ronin and Cronos are not eligible. For small mistakes, recovery on Bybit is rarely worth it, so double-check before you send.
Withdrawals: fees, processing time and internal transfers
Bybit charges a fixed fee on every withdrawal, which users cannot set themselves; Bybit says it raises batch miner fees dynamically for faster confirmation. Fees and minimums per coin and network are on Bybit's Crypto Deposit/Withdrawal Status page and appear in the withdrawal window once you pick a coin and network. These figures change, so this guide does not copy them; go by the withdrawal window when you send. By default the fee is deducted from the amount, and that setting can be changed.
- Processing time: two Bybit pages say "up to 15 minutes" and "up to 30 minutes or one hour", longer under congestion. You can cancel only while the status is Under Review.
- Extra documents: you may be asked for identity documents during a withdrawal; if not provided within 72 hours, the withdrawal is rejected. Withdrawals to addresses deemed high risk may also be rejected and restricted.
- Memo: Bybit allows withdrawals to addresses without a memo, but checking whether the receiver needs one is your responsibility; Bybit is not liable for losses from a missing memo.
- BTC addresses: withdrawals to SegWit addresses starting with bc1 are supported.
- Internal transfers: enter the recipient's email, UID or mobile number; no fee and instant. Both accounts must have completed identity verification.
What locks withdrawals for 24 hours (P2P included)
Bybit lists nine actions that trigger a 24-hour withdrawal restriction:
- Changing or resetting the account password
- Changing or resetting the mobile number
- Changing or disabling the email address
- Activating or disabling New Address Withdrawal Lock
- Disabling or resetting Google Authenticator
- Changing or disabling the fund password
- Transferring your KYC identity to another account
- Self-reactivating the account
- Removing passkeys
Mind the scope: Bybit counts on-chain withdrawals, internal transfers, fiat withdrawals, Bybit Card transactions and P2P buy and sell orders as withdrawals, so P2P is blocked for those 24 hours too. Source: Common reasons for unsuccessful withdrawal requests.
Withdrawal protections you can switch on
- Withdrawal address whitelist: verified addresses no longer need email and 2FA codes; a daily whitelist withdrawal limit can be set.
- Withdraw via address book only: up to 10 addresses can be added per batch.
- New Address Withdrawal Lock: every newly added address is locked, while addresses added at least 24 hours before activation are unaffected; turning it off triggers a 24-hour restriction.
- Withdrawal Protection: sets a delay before on-chain withdrawals are processed.
- App-only withdrawals and On the Move Protection: withdrawals started outside a trusted location need extra verification, even to whitelisted addresses.
- Anti-phishing code: once set, it appears in all official Bybit emails and SMS messages.

Fiat channels: cards, One-Click Buy and the state of TWD P2P
Bybit lists four ways to fund an account: crypto deposit, One-Click Buy, Fiat Deposit and P2P. One-Click Buy covers bank cards (Visa/Mastercard, with Google Pay and Apple Pay), third-party payment providers (Bybit says more than eight, each with its own KYC) and fiat balance. Official facts relevant to users in Taiwan:
- Restricted regions: Bybit's service-restricted list (updated 2026-09-01) does not include Taiwan, and neither does the restricted KYC country list for fiat services.
- Cards and Apple Pay: Bybit's supported regions page for card payment lists Taiwan for both Visa/Mastercard and Apple Pay (by card-issuing region). Cards and third-party channels require Standard KYC.
- Card fees: non-EU Visa 3.05%, non-EU Mastercard 2.70%, Asia JCB 5%; Bybit may change these.
- Fiat Deposit: the Help Center points to the fiat deposit page for supported currencies; per the site map, the fiat deposit pages cover 25 currencies, with no TWD.
- TWD P2P: Bybit P2P's configuration includes TWD, with payment methods such as domestic bank transfer, JKOPAY, LINE Pay and 7-Eleven; but on 2026-09-28 Bybit's public P2P market showed zero TWD ads for USDT, USDC and BTC on both sides, and Bybit's P2P order limits table has no TWD row. The ad count is only a snapshot and can change at any time; check the P2P page after logging in.

Bybit P2P rules
- Requirements: at least Standard KYC plus a linked phone and email. Bybit itself does not post buy or sell offers; your counterparty is always another user.
- Payment: the platform does not pay automatically; transfer within the order timer or the order is cancelled. The paying account name must match your Bybit verified name, and do not write sensitive words such as "BTC/USDT purchase" in the reference.
- Release and appeals: if the seller has not released 10 minutes after you pay, you can appeal. Normal appeals usually take up to about 48 hours depending on both sides; normal USDT orders can use Fast-Track, with a decision in about 15 minutes. Completed or cancelled orders must be appealed within 5 calendar days.
- Cancellations: buyers can cancel up to 3 times in 24 hours; beyond that P2P is restricted for 24 hours. Never cancel after paying.
- Risk control: if a trade is deemed risky, a 24-hour withdrawal restriction is placed on the account.
- Fees: Bybit's fee page lists rates for only a few currencies (such as NGN, AZN and RUB); unlisted currencies carry no transaction fee.
- Advertiser deposit: general advertisers show a 200 USDT security deposit ("may not be required, amount subject to change"), USDT only, frozen in the Funding Account and used for compensation when needed.

For users in Taiwan: Bybit is not on the FSC register
As of 2026-09-28, Bybit is not on Taiwan's Financial Supervisory Commission list of virtual asset service providers that have completed AML registration (list updated 2026-09-03). The rules, how to check the list and the status of all 11 exchanges are in Taiwan VASP registration and offshore exchanges.
Scam check: off-platform P2P and "pay first to withdraw" are red flags
- Copy deposit addresses only from the Bybit app or website deposit page; for shared-address coins like XRP and TON, take the memo from the deposit page too.
- Set an anti-phishing code and treat any "Bybit email or SMS" without it as suspicious.
- Never trade privately with a P2P counterparty: Bybit states it is not responsible for losses from trades made outside its P2P platform.
- Anyone asking you to pay an unfreezing fee, deposit or tax before you can withdraw is running a scam.
When Taiwan's FSC published its VASP register on 2025-09-22, it warned that scam rings lure people into buying virtual assets with promises like "guaranteed profit" and "high return, low risk", then demand an unfreezing fee, deposit or tax before any returns can be withdrawn. How deposits and withdrawals relate to rebates
Rebates depend only on trading fees: deposits, withdrawals and internal transfers earn nothing and do not change your rate. Bind NOVA888 through Quant Nova and new users get 30% from Lv.1 with no threshold, 35% at SVIP through trading volume, and up to 40% at invite-only Supernova, settled daily and traceable per trade. Within 14 days of signup and with no referrer yet, you can add it later using affiliate ID 163627 (numbers only).
Steps are in adding an affiliate code on Bybit, fees and rebate examples in the Bybit fee rebate guide; for accounts past 14 days, see the Bybit rebind guide.
FAQ
Can I withdraw from Bybit without KYC?
Yes, but withdrawals are all you can do: up to 20,000 USDT a day and 100,000 USDT a month. Unverified accounts cannot deposit, trade or use P2P. Standard raises the daily cap to 1,000,000 USDT and Advanced to 2,000,000 USDT, with no monthly cap.
How many confirmations does a USDT deposit to Bybit need?
Per Bybit's API on 2026-09-28: TON 1, ERC20 6, TRC20 20, BEP20 60, Arbitrum One 120, Solana 200. After crediting, funds still wait for the unlock count before they can be withdrawn.
What does missing-memo recovery cost on Bybit?
The self-service appeal costs 5x the coin's standard withdrawal fee, with a result in 1-3 working days; transactions older than 180 days are not processed, nor are refunds that fall below the minimum withdrawal after the fee.
Can I get back a coin Bybit does not support?
If it appears in Pending Assets, you can withdraw it yourself for a USDT fee; if not, the manual route requires a value above 500 USD, charges a fixed 200 USD, takes 3-5 working days to review and is not guaranteed.
How long after a password change can I withdraw?
24 hours. During that time on-chain withdrawals, internal transfers, fiat withdrawals and P2P trading are all restricted.
Can I buy USDT with TWD on Bybit P2P?
Bybit P2P is configured for TWD with Taiwanese payment methods, but on 2026-09-28 the public market showed no TWD ads. Taiwan-issued Visa/Mastercard and Apple Pay are listed for One-Click Buy, with a 3.05% fee for non-EU Visa.
