Three things to know before you sign up

• A referral code can only be entered at signup — it cannot be added later. This is what most people discover too late. Get it wrong or skip it and rebinding is your only route.

Bybit registration, step by step

Step 1: open the referral registration link

Use the "Register" button on this page to open Bybit's official signup form; the link already carries the code NOVA888. If you register manually, type it into the "referral code" field yourself.

Step 2: enter an email or phone number and set a password

Use an address you actually check, set a strong password, and turn on 2FA immediately. Exchange accounts are rarely lost because the platform was breached — they are lost to reused passwords with no second factor.

Step 3: confirm the code reads NOVA888

Check the referral field once more before submitting. This step decides every rebate you will ever earn on the account, and it cannot be changed afterwards.

Step 4: complete KYC

Have your ID ready for document and face verification; it usually takes minutes to a day. How much rebate will you get?

The rebate comes in two layers, from completely different places:

Your tier is set by XP, and XP is simply the fees you have paid in the last 30 days, in USDT — pay 500 USDT in fees and you have 500 XP. No conversion.

On 500 USDT of monthly fees: Lv.1 returns 150 USDT, SVIP returns 175 USDT. The rate is applied per fill at whatever tier you were in, so your first month comes in under this; it converges once you settle into a tier.

The top "Supernova" tier cannot be reached by trading volume. It is invitation-only, reserved for accounts of a certain size, and arranged case by case.

What about the signup bonus?

Every exchange advertises a welcome package — bonuses, trial funds, mystery boxes — and the headline numbers look large. In practice these almost always come with conditions: a minimum deposit, a volume target inside a window, and rewards that are usually non-withdrawable trial credit or fee coupons that expire if unused.

Treat it as a one-off bonus, not as a reason to pick an exchange. What actually drives long-run cost is the fee and the rebate, because those happen on every single trade. Five mistakes people make

• Skipping the code, assuming it can be added later. It cannot. That is the single most important line in this guide.
• Assuming the code alone produces a rebate. That is only Layer 1. Layer 2 needs the UID bound on the rebate site.
• Binding the wrong UID. The UID is a numeric account ID — not a nickname, not an email. Sub-account commission rolls up to the master account's UID, so binding the master is enough.
• Depositing on the wrong chain. USDT lives on several; assets sent on the wrong one are usually gone. Check the network on both sides first.
• Not turning on 2FA. No rebate rate saves an account that gets taken over.
