How Rebate Tiers and XP Work: The Rolling 30-Day Fee System Explained

Quant Nova sets your rebate tier from XP — your trailing 30-day trading fees in USDT — recalculated daily, with the new tier's rate taking effect the same day you hit it. Here's how Lv.2 to SVIP thresholds work, with a worked example.

In crypto trading, how much fee rebate you actually get back depends not only on which invite code you bind, but — more importantly — on your rebate tier. On our all-in-one rebate data platform (Quant Nova), your tier is set by experience points (XP), and XP is simply your trailing 30-day trading fees, denominated in USDT. It is recalculated daily, and the moment you clear a threshold your new tier's rebate rate takes effect the same day. This article walks through the whole mechanism, the thresholds, and a concrete worked example.

What are experience points (XP) and rebate tiers?

A rebate tier is a "trade more, get more back" ladder. The higher your tier, the higher the share of the rebate — collected from the exchange — that the platform passes on to you. The one and only metric that sets your tier is XP, defined precisely as the trading fees you paid to the exchange over the past 30 days, valued in USDT.

In other words, XP is not login days, not referral count, and not trading "volume" — it is real, paid fees. The more fees you generate, the higher your XP, and the higher your tier.

How is XP different from ordinary "points"?

Most points programs only ever add up and then wipe to zero every month. Quant Nova's XP is different: it is a rolling 30-day figure — today's XP equals the sum of fees within the window from 30 days ago up to today. Fees older than 30 days automatically slide out of the window, so your XP moves up and down with your recent activity instead of resetting once at month-end.

How is XP calculated? The rolling 30-day fee mechanism

"Rolling 30 days" is the key to the whole system. Every day, the platform recomputes: it sums the fees of every trade within your "most recent 30 days" to get that day's XP. This means three things:

Because XP is tied to fees rather than volume, different products and different leverage generate different fees and therefore contribute differently to XP. To estimate how much fee you might pay, start with the spot and futures rates of the five major exchanges:

Tier thresholds at a glance (Lv.2 to SVIP and Supernova)

Tier thresholds are based on your "trailing 30-day accumulated fees (USDT)", as follows:

There is also a special tier, Supernova: it cannot be reached through XP and is granted manually by an administrator to specific partners or long-term contributors, sitting outside the normal upgrade path.

The actual rebate percentage for each tier varies by exchange and is shown live on the platform — see the table below:

A worked example: how 600 USDT in fees reaches Lv.3

A concrete example makes it click. Suppose over the past 30 days Alex paid roughly 600 USDT in fees across spot and futures trading:

Now the dynamic side: if Alex barely trades in the following days, and the higher-fee trades from 30 days ago progressively "slide out" of the window, his XP might fall from 600 to 480, dip below 500, and his tier would revert to Lv.2. Conversely, as soon as he pays a bit more in fees to push the 30-day total back above 500, he returns to Lv.3 that same day. That is exactly what "rolling 30 days, recalculated daily, effective on qualifying" looks like in practice.

How does my tier affect rebates on each exchange?

The higher your tier, the higher the ceiling on your extra rebate. Rebate structures differ by exchange; after binding a Quant Nova invite code, the rates available at different tiers look roughly like this (actual rates are shown live on the platform):

Most KOL invite codes only give a fixed 20% discount, whereas Quant Nova can go higher based on your tier — which is the most direct payoff for accumulating XP and climbing to a higher tier. To compare exchange fees and rebates side by side, see the crypto exchange fee and rebate comparison, or the comparison table below:

How do I check my XP, tier, and rebates?

Quant Nova is an all-in-one rebate data platform: after you bind an invite code, you can see every single rebate, your current balance, your current tier, and your XP in real time in the dashboard, and request withdrawals directly. This is the biggest difference from an ordinary KOL invite code — you are not "entrusting" your rebates to someone; you can see, reconcile, and withdraw every last one.

If you have not bound yet, start with the pillar guide, the complete guide to crypto exchange fee rebates, then head to the rebind tutorial for the exchange you use:

Frequently Asked Questions

Is XP based on trading volume or on fees?

On fees, not volume. XP equals the total trading fees you actually paid to the exchange over the past 30 days, valued in USDT. For the same volume, products with higher fees accumulate XP faster.

Do tiers reset every month?

No. XP is rolling 30 days, recalculated daily: the platform re-sums your "most recent 30 days" of fees every day. There is no month-end reset — fees older than 30 days simply slide out of the window.

I just crossed a threshold today — do I have to wait until next month to be upgraded?

No. Your new tier's rebate rate takes effect on the day you qualify, and rebates generated afterward are calculated at the new rate. There is no waiting for next month.

If I trade less lately, can my tier drop?

Yes. Because it is a rolling window, XP falls as older fees slide out; if it drops below a threshold, your tier reverts to the corresponding level. As soon as you bring your trailing 30-day fees back above the threshold, it climbs again the same day.

How do I get "Supernova"?

Supernova cannot be earned through XP. It is granted manually by an administrator to specific partners or long-term contributors — a special tier outside the normal upgrade path.

What is the rebate percentage at each tier?

The actual percentage varies by exchange and is shown live on the platform — see the rebate tier table above. The overall principle is: the higher your tier, the higher the ceiling on your extra rebate.
