HTX Fee Rebate 2026: Up to 50% Futures, 45% Spot

HTX fee rebate guide: bind through Quant Nova for 40%–50% on futures and 40%–45% on spot, 2 to 2.5x a typical 20% code. 0.2% spot drops to 0.11%.

When you bind through Quant Nova, the HTX (formerly Huobi) fee rebate starts at 40% on futures at Lv.1 and goes up to 50%, with 40%–45% on spot. Of that, 20% is the automatic rebate and the rest is paid by Quant Nova on top, according to your tier. Most referral codes you'll find online pay only 20% (some 25%); sign up with the lower-case code nova888 and bind your UID, and you get 2 to 2.5 times a typical 20% code. On 1,000 USDT of monthly fees, a typical 20% code returns 200; nova888 returns 400 at Lv.1 and up to 500.

The part of HTX worth working out carefully is spot: spot maker and taker are both 0.2%, tied with XT.COM as the highest of the twelve exchanges we cover. The higher the fee, the more a rebate gives back. On 100,000 USDT of spot volume a month, you pay 200 USDT in fees; a typical 20% code returns 40, nova888 returns 80–90. This guide lays out the numbers for both spot and futures.

Quick takeaways

What kind of exchange is HTX?

HTX started out as Huobi, founded in 2013, and announced its rebrand to HTX on 13 September 2023; see the official HTX rebrand announcement. Along with Gate, it is the longest-running of the twelve exchanges on this site.

According to HTX's official public API (checked 2026-09-24), about 604 spot pairs are live and 357 USDT-margined contracts are trading. Products include spot, margin, USDT-margined and coin-margined futures, copy trading, trading bots and Earn. HTX publishes Merkle-tree proof of reserves and has released reports for 44 consecutive months; the June 2026 report showed a BTC reserve ratio of 103% and ETH of 100%.

Three notes:

How futures fees are calculated is explained in HTX's official USDT-margined futures fee guide.

How the HTX rebate works

The rebate is charged first, refunded later: you pay the full fee when you trade, and part of it comes back afterwards. When you bind through Quant Nova there are two layers:

LayerPaid byRateCondition
Layer 1: automatic rebateHTX (as set on the code nova888)20%Sign up with the code nova888
Layer 2: extra rebateRebate platform (Quant Nova)Futures 20%–30%, spot 20%–25%Bind your UID on the rebate site

The two layers add up to the total. Layer 2 is calculated and paid by Quant Nova according to your tier; the mechanics are explained in automatic vs extra rebates.

The HTX code is all lower case: nova888. Typing it in capitals out of habit from other exchanges is the most common mistake. The "Referral Code (Optional)" field on the sign-up page is collapsed by default, so expand it and check it reads nova888 before submitting; signing up through this article's link fills it in for you.

Rebate by tier

When you bind through Quant Nova, futures start at 40% at the zero-threshold Lv.1, then 44% at Lv.5, 45% at SVIP and 50% at the invitation-only Supernova tier; spot runs from 40% at Lv.1 to 45%. The HTX column below shows the futures rate for each tier:

Actual rates vary by tier and exchange; live figures are shown on the platform.

Your tier is set by experience points (XP), which are simply the fees you paid over the last 30 days, in USDT. Because HTX spot fees are high, fees build up quickly and so does your tier; see how rebate tiers and XP work.

Spot: where the HTX rebate matters most

Using the Prime 0 spot rate of 0.2% (maker and taker alike):

Monthly spot volumeMonthly feesTypical 20% codenova888 Lv.1 (40%)nova888 top (45%)Extra per year vs a typical code
10,000 USDT20 USDT48960
50,000 USDT100 USDT204045300
100,000 USDT200 USDT408090600
500,000 USDT1,000 USDT2004004503,000

(The last column is 45% minus 20%. At higher volumes you may reach a higher Prime level, which lowers the fee base; the rebate amounts shrink in proportion.)

Effective rates make it clearer. On the same HTX spot account you pay 0.2% with no code, 0.16% with a typical 20% code, 0.12% with nova888 at Lv.1 and 0.11% at the top tier. On HTX spot, the right referral code cuts your 0.2% fee by almost half.

At 100,000 USDT of spot volume a month, a typical 20% code returns 480 USDT a year and nova888 at the top tier returns 1,080 USDT, 600 USDT more. You don't change anything about how you trade; it depends only on the code you entered at sign-up.

Futures: rebate examples and regional restrictions

Assuming 70% taker and 30% maker, the blended futures rate is 0.7 × 0.06% + 0.3 × 0.02% = 0.048%:

Monthly futures volumeMonthly feesTypical 20% codenova888 Lv.1 (40%)nova888 top (50%)
100,000 USDT48 USDT9.619.224
500,000 USDT240 USDT4896120
2,000,000 USDT960 USDT192384480
5,000,000 USDT2,400 USDT4809601,200

The 0.06% futures taker fee becomes 0.048% with a typical 20% code, 0.036% with nova888 at Lv.1 and 0.03% at the top tier. At up to 50%, the futures rebate halves your taker cost and pays 2.5 times a typical 20% code.

A note on regions: under the HTX User Agreement (updated September 2026), derivatives are not available in several regions, including Taiwan, and users in Hong Kong and mainland China are excluded from HTX entirely. The futures examples above apply where HTX derivatives are available.

How to bind the HTX rebate

  1. Open the HTX sign-up page through the referral link and choose email or phone.
  2. Expand the "Referral Code (Optional)" field, confirm it reads lower-case nova888, then finish verification and set a password.
  3. Complete KYC as needed: HTX has three levels. Withdrawals work without KYC up to 2 BTC per day, and L1 basic identity details make them unlimited; L2 (ID upload) and L3 (face recognition) raise your limits.
  4. Bind your HTX UID on the Quant Nova rebate site. Only the UID is needed, not an API key or password.
  5. Start trading. Once fees are generated, rebates and XP accrue, and you can check and withdraw them on the rebate site.
HTXHTX — up to 50% fee rebate

The exchange's daily report is imported and each trade matched to your UID; the rebate usually lands from T+1. Quant Nova can pay the extra rebate straight to your bound HTX UID by internal transfer. Settlement details are in how fee rebates are settled.

Already have an HTX account?

HTX has no public way to add a referral code after sign-up, and a bound code can't be changed. If you already have an HTX account that wasn't registered with nova888, rebind by registering a new account through the signup link with lowercase nova888: withdrawals work without KYC up to 2 BTC per day, and L1 basic verification makes them unlimited. See the HTX rebind guide. Other exchanges' add-later and rebind rules are collected in exchange rebind rules at a glance.

How is this different from a typical KOL code?

The HTX codes you find by searching mostly pay 20%, some 25%, with the rest of the commission kept by the referrer. HTX's own rules confirm that when a referrer creates a custom code, they set the share passed on to invitees, and how much is up to them.

When you bind through Quant Nova, nova888 gives 40% at Lv.1 with no volume requirement; as you build XP, futures go to 45%, and the invitation-only Supernova tier reaches 50%. On the same fee, nova888 returns at least twice what a typical 20% code does.

Who should take the HTX rebate?

If you've decided to trade on HTX, sign up with lower-case nova888 and bind your UID: the same trades return 2 to 2.5 times what a typical code pays. Code details are in the HTX referral code nova888 guide.

Frequently asked questions

What is the maximum HTX fee rebate?

When you bind through Quant Nova, up to 50% on futures and 45% on spot, with both at 40% at the zero-threshold Lv.1. Of that, 20% is the automatic rebate and the rest is paid by Quant Nova according to your tier.

Is the HTX referral code upper or lower case?

All lower case: nova888. The same goes for WEEX; Binance, Bybit, Bitget and the other exchanges use upper-case NOVA888.

Are HTX spot fees expensive?

Yes. At Prime 0, spot maker and taker are both 0.2%, tied with XT.COM as the highest of the twelve. With nova888 your effective rate drops to 0.11%–0.12%, and HTX or TRX deduction takes a further 25% off the list rate.

Can everyone trade HTX futures?

No. The HTX User Agreement restricts derivatives in several regions, including Taiwan; users there should stick to spot, which still earns a 40%–45% rebate.

I already have an HTX account. Can I still add the code?

HTX has no public add-later option, and a bound code can't be changed. To rebind, register a new account with lowercase nova888; see the HTX rebind guide.

When does the HTX rebate arrive?

Usually from T+1 in your Quant Nova rebate-site balance, with every line item visible, and you can withdraw it straight to your HTX account by internal transfer.

Does the rebate conflict with HTX deduction or Prime levels?

No. Deduction and Prime levels lower the list rate, while the rebate returns part of the fees you actually generate. They work together.
