How do you sign up for Pionex? Seven steps: open the official link with the referral code → register with email or phone and enter the verification code → set a password and confirm the code reads NOVA888 → turn on two-factor authentication → complete KYC → find your Pionex UID → bind that UID on the Quant Nova rebate site. When you bind through Quant Nova, the Pionex futures fee rebate starts at 40% at Lv.1 and goes up to 50%, which is 2 to 2.5 times what the usual 20% referral codes pay. On 1,000 USDT of monthly futures fees, a typical 20% code returns 200 USDT; NOVA888 returns 400–500 USDT.
Quick takeaways
- Referral code: NOVA888 (upper case). The link behind this article's button fills it in for you.
- Rebate: when you bind through Quant Nova, 40%–50% on futures and 10% on spot. The futures rate is 2 to 2.5 times a common 20% code.
- Forgot the code? You still have a window: Pionex officially lets you add a code within 14 days of signing up, or 72 hours if you have used a bot or placed an order.
- Once bound, it can't be changed: a submitted referral code can't be edited or removed, so check it before you submit.
- Sign-up isn't the last step: the code decides who referred you; the rebate only starts once you bind your Pionex UID on Quant Nova.
Four things to know before you sign up
- Pionex is known for its built-in trading bots. Grid, DCA, futures grid and other bots carry no subscription fee, but every order a bot places pays the normal trading fee, and that fee is what the rebate is calculated on.
- The add-later window is short. The official rule allows adding a referral code within 14 days of registration, but once you have created a bot or placed an order it shrinks to 72 hours. The safe move is to enter NOVA888 at sign-up rather than count on adding it later.
- Check that your region is supported. Under the Pionex Terms of Service, mainland China, Hong Kong, the United States, Singapore, the United Kingdom, Canada, the Netherlands, Spain and France are among the restricted regions. US users are served by a separate entity, Pionex US.
- Registering doesn't start the rebate by itself. Entering the code is one step; binding your UID on the rebate site is another. You need both.
Pionex registration steps, step by step
Step 1: open the sign-up page through the referral link
Tap this article's sign-up button to reach the official Pionex registration page with NOVA888 already filled in. According to the official Pionex registration guide, sign-up starts from the "Sign up" button; if you go to the site yourself, start there and type the code in by hand.
Step 2: choose email or phone and enter the verification code
Pionex accepts an email address or a phone number, and also supports Google or Apple sign-in. After you submit, you'll receive a verification code that is valid for only 5 minutes, so enter it right away; if it expires, request a new one.
Step 3: set a password and confirm the code is NOVA888
Choose a strong password you haven't used anywhere else. On the same step you'll see the referral code field, marked as optional. Before you submit, make sure the field reads NOVA888 in capitals: this step decides every rebate you'll receive, and it can't be changed afterwards. If you came through the link, it's already there; just glance at it.
Step 4: log in and turn on two-factor authentication
Once the account exists, log in and turn on two-factor authentication (2FA) first. The official guide specifically says to complete KYC and set up Google Authenticator before running bots. Most hacked exchange accounts come from reused passwords without 2FA, not from the exchange being breached.
Step 5: complete KYC
According to the official Pionex KYC guide, verification has two levels:
- LV.1: your country of residence and full legal name. This unlocks crypto deposits.
- LV.2: an ID document plus a liveness check. This raises your withdrawal limit and enables fiat and card purchases; review usually takes 15–60 minutes.
What each level unlocks is whatever Pionex currently states. If you plan to run bots, finish KYC in one go.
Step 6: find your Pionex UID
Your UID is the unique number Pionex assigns to your account. It isn't your nickname or your email. After logging in you can see and copy it from your account avatar or profile area; its exact position may vary between app versions. If you can't find it, see what a UID is and where to find it.
Step 7: bind the UID on Quant Nova and start trading
On the Quant Nova rebate site, choose Pionex, paste your UID and submit. Binding needs only your UID: no API key, no password and no withdrawal permission, and your assets stay in your own Pionex account throughout. After that you can deposit, trade by hand or start a bot; the rebate accrues on fees generated from the moment you bind.
Of the seven steps, only two affect your wallet: the referral code in step 3 and the UID binding in step 7. The first can't be undone once submitted; the second pays off the earlier you do it. On 1,000 USDT of monthly futures fees, getting both right means 200–300 USDT more each month than a typical 20% code.
Forgot the referral code at sign-up?
Pionex is one of the few exchanges with an official way to add a code later. According to the official Pionex refill guide:
- Normally: you can add a referral code within 14 days of registering.
- If you have used a bot or placed an order: the window shrinks to 72 hours (3 days).
- If a code is already bound: it can't be changed or removed.
Per the official registration guide, the entry point on the web is your account avatar → Account settings → Referrals; in the app it's Account → Settings → Profile → Referral code. If you're still inside the window, add NOVA888 today and then bind your UID on the rebate site.
Accounts past the deadline, or already bound to someone else's code, can't be switched to NOVA888. In that case, contact support and we'll explain what is possible for your account.
Pionex fees and rebate: how much more than a typical code?
A rebate is a percentage of your fees, so start with what you pay. Pionex's standard rates for regular users:
| Market | Maker | Taker |
| Spot | 0.05% | 0.05% |
| Perpetual futures | 0.02% | 0.05% |

Pionex has no fee-discount token, and leveraged tokens carry a fixed 0.1% fee. When you bind through Quant Nova, the rebate is settled in full by Quant Nova according to your tier: futures from 40% at Lv.1 up to 50%, spot 10%. The Pionex column below shows the futures rate for each tier:
Assuming 70% taker and 30% maker on futures, the blended rate is 0.7 × 0.05% + 0.3 × 0.02% = 0.041%:
| Monthly futures volume | Monthly fees | Typical 20% code | NOVA888 Lv.1 (40%) | NOVA888 top tier (50%) |
| 100,000 USDT | 41 USDT | 8.2 | 16.4 | 20.5 |
| 500,000 USDT | 205 USDT | 41 | 82 | 102.5 |
| 2,000,000 USDT | 820 USDT | 164 | 328 | 410 |
| 5,000,000 USDT | 2,050 USDT | 410 | 820 | 1,025 |
In effective-rate terms: the 0.05% futures taker fee drops to 0.04% with a typical 20% code, 0.03% with NOVA888 at Lv.1, and 0.025% at the top tier, which halves your taker cost.
Do bot trades earn a rebate?
Yes. Orders placed by a bot are ordinary spot or futures trades in your account, so they pay fees and the rebate is calculated on those fees. A grid bot buys low and sells high over and over within a range, so it trades far more often than most people do by hand; fees build up faster, and so does the rebate.
For example, a futures grid doing 2,000,000 USDT a month at the blended rate above pays 820 USDT in fees. A typical 20% code returns 1,968 USDT a year; NOVA888 at the top tier returns 4,920 USDT, a gap of almost 3,000 USDT.
For bot users, fees are the real long-term cost. Run the same grid strategy under NOVA888 and every 100 USDT of futures fees brings back 40–50 USDT, against 20 USDT with a typical code.
Two exceptions: according to the official Pionex referral programme page, stock-token spot trades and MEME trades earn no referral commission, so they generate no rebate either.
How is the rebate settled and withdrawn?
The Pionex rebate is settled in full by Quant Nova according to your tier. The exchange's daily report is imported, each trade is matched to your bound UID, and the rebate and experience points (XP) are calculated. It usually reaches your rebate-site balance from T+1, with every line item visible.
Your tier is set by XP, and XP is simply the fees you paid over the last 30 days, in USDT: 500 USDT of fees is 500 XP. The more you trade, the higher your tier, moving the futures rate from 40% towards 50%; see how rebate tiers and XP work. There are two ways to withdraw:
- Pionex internal transfer: sent straight to your Pionex UID, off-chain. Pionex sets a 2 USDT minimum for internal transfers; that is Pionex's threshold, not Quant Nova's.
- USDT (BEP20) on-chain: sent to a wallet address you choose.
The full settlement process is explained in how fee rebates are settled.
What about the sign-up bonus?
Every exchange uses welcome gifts and trial funds to attract sign-ups, and the headline amounts look large. Almost all of them come with conditions: a minimum deposit, a trading-volume target within a deadline, and usually trial funds or vouchers that can't be withdrawn directly and expire if unused. The actual terms are whatever Pionex's promotion page says; we make no promises about them.
Treat it as a one-off bonus. What shapes your long-term cost is the fee you pay on every single trade: the welcome gift arrives once, the rebate arrives every month. Pionex users tend to leave bots running for long stretches, so fees build up daily; pick the right code and that money keeps coming back to you.
Six common mistakes
- Submitting without checking the code field. The field is optional, so you can register with it empty, but then you get no NOVA888 rebate.
- Starting a bot before adding the code. Once you've created a bot or placed an order, the add-later window drops from 14 days to 72 hours and is easy to miss.
- Assuming the code alone triggers the rebate. You still need to bind your UID on Quant Nova; the rebate counts from the binding.
- Binding the wrong UID. The UID is your account number, not your nickname or email. Copy and paste it.
- Letting the verification code expire. Pionex sign-up codes last 5 minutes; if it lapses, request another.
- Depositing before turning on 2FA. Set up two-factor authentication first, then move funds in.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to enter a referral code to register on Pionex?
No, but without one you get no NOVA888 rebate, and you only have 14 days to add it later (72 hours if you've used a bot or placed an order). Using a code never increases your fees.
Where do I enter the Pionex referral code NOVA888?
There's an optional referral code field on the step where you set your password. The link behind this article's button fills it in automatically; just confirm it reads NOVA888 in capitals before submitting.
Can I add a referral code after registering on Pionex?
Yes, within 14 days of registering, or within 72 hours if you've used a bot or placed an order. Once added, it can't be changed.
Is KYC required on Pionex?
Yes, if you want the full feature set. LV.1 (country and name) unlocks crypto deposits; LV.2 (ID plus liveness check) raises withdrawal limits and enables fiat purchases. Pionex also advises completing KYC before running bots.
How much rebate does NOVA888 pay on Pionex?
When you bind through Quant Nova, 40% on futures at Lv.1 rising to 50%, and 10% on spot. The futures rate is 2 to 2.5 times a typical 20% code, or 200–300 USDT more a month on 1,000 USDT of futures fees.
Do I have to share an API key to bind my UID?
No. Only the UID is needed: no API key, password or withdrawal permission, and your assets stay in your own Pionex account.
When does the rebate arrive?
Usually from T+1 in your Quant Nova rebate-site balance, where you can see the details and withdraw by Pionex internal transfer or USDT (BEP20).
Which regions can't register on Pionex?
The Pionex Terms of Service list restricted regions including mainland China, Hong Kong, the United States, Singapore and the United Kingdom. Check the current terms for your country before you sign up.
